Production that pays attention.

Why the tagline is the brief.

Production that pays attention is a tagline because it is also a process. Most production work fails in the same place. The brief gets generalized, the shoot gets scaled, the post gets rushed, and the work that ships does not look like the work that was sold.

The line is a discipline. It says, on every job, that we are going to read the brief twice, write the treatment once, and ship the cut the way we wrote it. It is the smallest sentence we could find that names the thing that separates the studios we admire from the studios we work alongside.

Paying attention is unfashionable in production right now. The trend is faster, cheaper, more output, more SKUs, more aspect ratios per shoot day. The trend works for some briefs and breaks for the rest. The work that has built our roster has all been the second kind. Considered. Owned. Edited.

The line will read differently to different clients. To a brand that has been burned, it reads like reassurance. To a brand that has not, it reads like a slogan. We are fine with either. The work makes the case.
